An original card game by James Barrett
Dig low. Bury the rest.
About the Game
Unearthed is a press-your-luck grid card game in the classic Golf family. Each round you tend a face-down 3×4 excavation of cards and try to keep its total value as low as possible — drawing from the deck or the discard, then choosing to place a card or reveal one already buried.
Line up a full column of three matching cards and it is cleared away to zero — the main way to shed points. The first player to bare their whole grid ends the round, but going out only pays off if you truly held the lowest hand. Cross the target score and the game ends; the lowest total wins.
How to Play
The Deck
Low and negative cards keep your dig light. High numbers are points to shed, bury face-down, or match away in a cleared column.
